Karla Taboada, PhD
CEO and Co-founder
Karla is a data science and artificial intelligence specialist who in 2008 was awarded with the excellence young researcher fellowship by the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS). With over 15 years of international working experience in private and government organisations in Latin America, Japan, Canada and New Zealand, her expertise includes data mining, machine learning, cognitive technologies, natural language processing, big data analytics and evolutionary computation. Karla has published more than 20 journals and international conference papers in the area of artificial intelligence and data mining. She has a PhD in engineering from Waseda University in Japan and is passionate about applying science and technology for social good.
Eloy Gonzales, PhD
Co-founder and Director
Eloy has spend over 18 years in data science at companies in several countries including IBM, NICT, IRD and others where deployed AI solutions to solve real world problems. He was inventor or co-inventor of 4 patents in ML.
Author/co-author of more than 30 publications in the area of ML in international conferences and journals. Mentor of data science and regular speaker in conferences, seminars, meet ups and webinars.
He holds a PhD in engineering from Waseda University, Japan.
